Afghans Everyhere

 

I am diaspora.

And so are millions of Afghans across the globe.
As a result of decades of war, Afghans make up one of the largest refugee populations worldwide.

و همینطور میلیونها افغان دیگر در سراسر جهان.
از اثر دهه ها جنگ، افغان ها یکی از بزرگترین جمعیت های پناهجویان در سراسر جهان را تشکیل می دهند.

 

Some moved here. Leaving everything behind.

برخی به اینجا نقل مکان کردند، با پشت سر گذاشتن همه چیز.

 

Some ended up here. And stayed. For good.

بعضی ها در اینجا ساکن شدند و ماندند، برای همیشه.

 

 Others arrived here. Got married. Raised children.

دیگران به اینجا رسیدند، ازدواج کردند و فرزندان خود را بزرگ کردند.

Behind every dot on a map, behind every statistic lies a human being.

As diaspora from Canada and Germany, @minasharif and I founded the Instagram Account @afghanseverywhere. We are interviewing members of the Afghan diaspora to amplify and share their stories.
